What You Need to Know About Invisalign
Invisalign is a great option if you want to straighten your teeth but are not a fan of traditional braces. Invisalign uses a series of removable, clear plastic aligners that fit over your upper and lower teeth. The aligners gradually move your teeth into the correct position, and then you change them for the next set in the sequence. Each set of aligners is worn for about two weeks, then changed for the next set. They should be worn for 22 hours each day and removed only when you’re eating or drinking anything other than water. You can also remove them when brushing or flossing your teeth. A new set of aligners will be provided by your dentist every six weeks or so until treatment is complete. Your dentist will tell you how often to schedule follow-up visits, but they’re usually required every four to six weeks. Invisalign treatment typically takes 12 to 18 months, which is shorter than most orthodontic treatments using traditional braces.

    How Does Invisalign Work?
During the invisalign treatment, you wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. When you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move little by little, week by week. However it varies upon the case.
    Benefits of Invisalign
Invisalign aligners are comfortable, removable, and virtually invisible. These clear aligners fit over your teeth much like a sports mouthguard or retainer. You can continue eating, drinking and brushing your teeth as you normally do. Because the aligners are removable, you can maintain excellent oral hygiene without having to work around brackets and wires.
    Easy to use
Unlike traditional braces that require frequent dentist visits for painful adjustments, with Invisalign you only visit our office every six to eight weeks. You’ll also receive a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks to gently shift your teeth into place..
    Effective Way to Straighten Teeth
Invisalign’s innovative technology uses 3D computer imaging technology to plan your treatment from start to finish. Using a series of clear custom-made aligners, Invisalign gradually moves your teeth until they have straightened to the final position that your dentist has prescribed for you.
